Waterfalls and streams cut narrow valleys and the sea-carved cliffs have created beaches that can only be seen by helicopter, boat, or by foot. The sole land access to the rugged coast is via the Kalalau Trail, an 11-mile singletrack that winds up and down five valleys before it dead ends at Kalalau beach. | |
